Greg Jungles is a Technology Executive with over 25 years of Technology experience, with a demonstrated ability to transform IT organizations, build engaged teams and deliver innovative technology solutions aligned with strategic business needs. Greg has successfully led multiple IT organizations through multiple stages of the evolutionary lifecycle and has extensive experience in IT strategy development, organizational and process design, enterprise governance, and delivering right-sized technology solutions to high-growth organizations. He consistently applies strong leadership skills, enterprise thinking and business acumen to deliver technology-based solutions that enable organizations to effectively service their customers.
Greg’s tenure in the healthcare technology industry and experience in creating and transforming highly engaged IT organizations positions him to provide an experienced, outside perspective and deliver practical solutions for clients facing rapid change. He brings a unique ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions delivery.
For over fifteen years, Greg has served in executive and senior leadership roles for a variety of companies spanning the health care industry; from health care services and Informatics to specialty pharmacy to insurance. He has recently served as Vice President and Chief Information Officer of DaVita Rx, a $700M+ pharmacy services subsidiary of DaVita, Healthcare Partners. As the CIO, Greg led the transformation and maturation of the Information Technology department while helping to drive dramatic economic growth, exceeding 45% revenue increases for three consecutive years and a 1400% increase in operating income over the same period. During his tenure, he managed a $20M+ annual budget, grew the IT team from 15 to 100+ FTEs and oversaw the development of a 3-year, $55M enterprise data and technology strategy and roadmap. Greg also led the creation and adoption of the Enterprise PMO and Project Portfolio Management process.
Greg has also served as Senior Vice President of Informatics & Data Services for Alere Health, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Alere Inc., a global leader in merging rapid diagnostic devices and health information solutions. In that client-facing role, he reported directly to the CMO and led a team of 100+ individuals responsible for corporate Informatics, business intelligence and data solutions, including the development, automation and delivery of clinical and financial outcomes to Alere’s 300+ self-insured employer and health plan clients.
Additionally, Greg was the CIO/CTO for Quality Oncology, Inc. where he was instrumental in directing this venture capital-backed start-up company from its infancy through two acquisitions and growth into an industry leading organization. He has also held technology leadership positions with Trigon Blue Cross Blue Shield, Freddie Mac and Electronic Data Systems (EDS).
Greg is a graduate of James Madison University and serves on Georgia State University’s Center for Health IT Advisory Board. Greg currently lives with his family in the Atlanta Metropolitan area.
